Battery Compartment:

An extra battery is inside, for the Pendant. This charges the Battery and assures there is always a battery at full charge. When the battery in the pendant needs changing, simply take the battery out of the Pendant and put the fully charged Battery in and put the low Battery back in the charging Compartment, so it is ready for the next time a change is required. The Battery should be changed every 2 months.

Pendant Strap:

Works the same as the neck pendant with the exception it has a Velcro Wrist Band and may be worn on the wrist or strapped to a Wheelchair or Walker. In an Emergency, the 911 Dispatch Center will speak to you over the Speaker in the Pendant.

Base:

The Base Unit is approximately the same size as a small answering machine. It should be place on a table near an existing telephone jack and electrical receptacle so the installation does not require extension cords (if possible).

ADDITIONAL ADD-ONS

we recommend

Pendant:

The Pendant works the same as a telephone speakerphone once a connection is made to the monitoring station. You do not have to physically answer the call or hang up the call. The speaker is activated by pushing the button on the pendant and the call will be disconnected by 911 Dispatch Center operator once the emergency is over.

Lock Box:

The Lock Box is similar to the type of locks Realtors use at a customer's front door to give key access to authorized persons by way of a 4-digit combination. This is very useful should you fall or become bedridden, and not be able to unlock the door to let the necessary authorities in (neighbors, emergency rescue person, etc). With the 4-digit combination recorded in the Monitoring Station, the operator can give the combination to the police or rescue personnel to gain access in an emergency. This also very useful for visiting nurses, and the like, to gain access to the house without giving out keys. It simply hangs on the doorknob and has a small compartment on the side to store the house key. The compartment is locked closed until someone uses the combination to open it. When finished using the key, it may be put back inside the compartment and remain locked again until the next time it is needed.

TAP-ALERT

Neck Pendant:

This is normally worn like a necklace for the pendant, it can also hang from a towel bar or spigot in the Bathtub.

Emergency Well Communicator:

This works the same as a Pendant except it is fastened in place. Excellent for wall mounting at the Bathtub or Bed Area, etc. In an Emergency, the 911 Dispatch Center will speak to the Customer over the Speaker in the Emergency Wall Communicator.
